Contact Actions - Overview

Updated over 3 weeks ago

When building workflows, you will notice a category within workflow triggers called Contact Actions. This category includes triggers such as customer replied, form submitted, order form submission, order submitted, survey submitted, trigger link clicked, and Twilio validation error.

Customer Replied

The Customer Replied workflow trigger operates when an incoming message is received from a contact. This advanced workflow offers numerous filters and variables, enabling you to construct automation that performs actions based on customer replies, including those from specific communication channels like SMS or Email only.

Form Submitted

The Form Submitted workflow trigger activates when a form is submitted, provided that the form was created within your CRM system.

Order Form Submission

The Order Form Submission trigger is specifically engineered to initiate solely when a customer submits an order form via a website or sales funnel. This trigger is restricted to particular order types, including bump, opt-in, sale, and upsell.

Order Submitted

The Order Submitted trigger is an effective feature that allows businesses to offer customers upsells after completing an order form. Compatible with both one-step and two-step order forms, this functionality grants businesses the versatility to tailor their upsells depending on the order form type or products bought. The trigger activates upon an order form submission and once more when an upsell purchase takes place, recording product information for both instances.

Survey Submitted

The Survey Submitted trigger is tailored for particular actions following a lead's survey submission. This trigger initiates every time an individual submits a survey, activating the corresponding workflow.

Trigger Link Created

The Trigger Link Clicked automation is developed to automate tasks once a customer clicks on a trigger link. This link can be employed for various purposes, such as booking appointments or placing orders.

Twilio Validation Error

The Twilio Validation Error transpires when the Twilio Lookup response encounters a failure before dispatching an SMS or initiating a call. This problem surfaces when the number validation functionality is activated within the agency's Twilio configurations.
