Audience: This article is intended for Credit Repair Cloud account owners on the Start Plan (or above) who want to connect their existing merchant accounts to CRC Billing.
You can now link and manage your external payment gateways, NMI, and/or Authorize.net directly inside CRC Billing! The self-service setup gives you the flexibility to use your preferred merchant account, connect more than one gateway, and switch between them with one click without leaving Credit Repair Cloud.

To start, make sure you have the following:
An Active Merchant Account (Apply here if you don't have one)
An NMI Gateway and access to your NMI private (not public) key, or
An Authorize.net Gateway and access to your Authorize.net credentials/keys
Only Account Owners will be able to connect external payment gateways
What is External Payment Gateway Linking?
External Payment Gateway Linking allows CRC Billing to process payments using merchant accounts you already own with supported providers. Instead of contacting Support to connect your gateway, you can add, test, switch, and remove gateways yourself in one place.

How can I connect my NMI Gateway to CRC Billing?
Click on Billing & Payments.
Scroll down and click on Click here to connect existing account.
Enter the Merchant Account Name.
Enter the name of the merchant account provider that is connected to your gateway.
Click on the Gateway dropdown.
Select NMI.
Enter your NMI Username.
Enter your NMI Private Key.
NEW NMI USERS: Once your merchant account is approved, check your email inbox for an email from NMI and set your password. The subject will read "NMI Payment Gateway Account Information."
How do I create my Private Key?
a. Log in to your NMI account here: https://secure.nmi.com/merchants/login
b. Click on My Settings at the top right
c. Click on Security Keys from the dropdown
d. Click on Add a New Private Key
e. Enter CRC Billing under Key Name
f. Select your Username under Username Associated with key
g. Check both API and Cart under Key Permission
h. Click on Create
Click on Connect Gateway.
You are all set!
How can I connect my Authorize.net Gateway to CRC Billing?
Click on Billing & Payments.
Scroll down and click on Click here to connect existing account.
Enter the Merchant Account Name.
Enter the name of the merchant account provider that is connected to your gateway.Click on the Gateway dropdown.
Select Authorize.net.
Enter your Authorize.net API Login ID.
Enter your Authorize.net Transaction Key.
How do I retrieve my API Login ID and Transaction Key from Authorize.net?a. Log in to your Authorize.net account here: https://login.authorize.net/
b. Click on Settings under the ACCOUNT section on the left menu
c. Click on API Credentials & Keys under the Security Settings section
d. Locate your API Login IDe. Copy the API Login ID and go back and paste it in the setup form
f. Go back to Authorize.net and select New Transaction Key next to Obtain
g. Check the Disable Old Transaction Key Immediately box if it appears
h. Click on Submit
For security purposes, Authorize. net will need to verify your identity:
i. Click on REQUEST PIN
j. Retrieve the security PIN from your email and paste it in the corresponding field
k. Click on VERIFY PIN
l. Click on CONTINUE
m. Copy the newly created Transaction Key and go back and paste it in the setup form
Click on Connect Gateway.
You are all set!
With External Payment Gateway Linking, you can make CRC Billing more flexible by connecting your preferred gateways, choosing which gateway is active, and updating credentials anytime without leaving CRC.
