There’s a fine line between being proactive and getting on a credit bureau's “bad side.”
We recommend sending between 3 to 5 dispute items to a credit bureau within a 30 day period. If you send more, you risk being labeled “frivolous”.
The largest credit repair companies in the country only dispute 2-3 items per month. This will give the best success rate. But there is a secondary benefit: sending disputes at a steady pace will also increase your client’s life cycle – and, therefore, lifetime value (don’t deliberately slow down the process against your client’s benefit – just keep it to a pace that gives them the best success rate).
A higher success rate means happier clients. And happy clients on a long life cycle are your best source for sustained revenue.
