  Important Note

If you have an email inbox configured under your domain, it’s CRITICAL that you follow the process outlined here first, or your email inbox will stop working. Once you complete that, please come back to this article and follow the steps below to bring your domain over to My Credit Repair Site.

Bring Your Domain Over To My Credit Repair Site:

  Tip

If your domain is managed in GoDaddy, click here to read the specific instructions.

  1. Log in to your domain management service

You can find links to the login page for the most popular services below:

    a) Namecheap

    b) Hostgator

    c) Domain.com

    d) Bluehost

    e) Google Domains

    f) GoDaddy

  2. Access your domain’s settings

The way you access the domain settings may vary depending on your provider. You can find instructions for this by checking the articles linked below. Or, if your provider is not listed, search for "How to edit nameservers" in your provider's help center.

  3. Locate your Nameservers

The term “Nameservers” doesn’t change, regardless of your provider. Be on the lookout for the Nameservers area within your domain settings.

Below, you’ll find links to external help articles on how to edit the Nameservers in the most popular services.

    a) Namecheap (Look for the Custom DNS instructions)

    b) Hostgator

    c) Domain.com

    d) Bluehost

    e) Google Domains

    f) GoDaddy

  4. Edit your Nameservers to be:

    a) 1st entry: NS1.MYCREDITREPAIRSITE.COM

    b) 2nd entry: NS2.MYCREDITREPAIRSITE.COM

  5. Save your changes

Please note it can take up to 24-48 hours for the changes to take effect.

  Important Note

If you have forwarding rules for your domain, remove them and be sure to save changes again. Failing to do this may send your visitors to our website instead of yours. So remember, no forwarding rules, please!

  Tip

If you are struggling with this process, we recommend you to contact your registrar’s Support team and ask them to update your nameservers to point to the set shown in Step 4 above: NS1.MYCREDITREPAIRSITE.COM, and NS2.MYCREDITREPAIRSITE.COM.

Once this process is complete, please allow up to 24-48 hours for the changes to take effect.
