Yes, you can!
If you wish to take your domain elsewhere, you need to make some preparations first.
Domain Contact Information
The first step is to ensure your domain contact information is accurate and up-to-date. This contact information is separate from your web hosting account so you need to make sure it's correct in order to receive the transfer code, known as the EPP Code.
To update your domain contact details, you need to login to your web hosting account here, then choose My Domains from the main menu:
Then select Edit Contact Information from your domain's drop-down:
If you have more than one domain, you will need to do this for each one, as the contact details are unique for each registered domain.
The different contacts can be the same person, but you need to make sure the contact email is a valid email address so you can receive the EPP Code:
Domains are locked from transfers by default to prevent unauthorized changes.
You can disable this lock by using the option under Registrar Lock in the domain management page:
Domain Transfer Code (EPP Code)
When selecting this option from the domain management page, you will be sent this code via email to the address listed in your domain contacts. Please make sure your domain contact information is valid and up-to-date to avoid issues.
Important Note: This code is sent via an automated system and is only visible to your domain contact email address. This email may take some time to arrive, so we suggest waiting at least 24 hours before requesting a new EPP code.
And that's it! Please make sure you follow any instructions provided by your new domain host to ensure the process will complete without any hiccups.
