Whether you are repairing your own credit or working through a client's file, nothing else in the workflow can move until fresh reports from all three bureaus are inside Credit Repair Cloud.

This article shows you how to obtain the reports the right way, how to use the Import/Audit feature step by step, and how to fix the most common issues so you never get stuck at the starting line.

To start, make sure you have the following:

Who orders the credit reports?

Q: Who orders the reports, and where do they come from?

A: The client always orders their own reports. When a consumer pulls their own report, it counts as a soft inquiry and does not lower their score. If you are repairing your own credit, you order your own reports the same way.

This is not just a best practice — it protects the score you are trying to improve. Credit monitoring services are consumer products, and the providers do not want credit repair companies ordering reports on a client's behalf.

Credit Hero Score — the only monitoring service you need

For importing credit reports, there's really only one choice: Credit Hero Score. It's the only credit monitoring service built as a direct integration with Credit Repair Cloud, so reports flow straight into the platform — instantly, cleanly, and reliably.

Because Credit Hero Score was built in-house specifically for Credit Repair Cloud, there's no third-party login to troubleshoot, no mismatched data structures, etc. It pulls reports and scores from all three bureaus, with a 7-day trial available for $1 — a real bargain for your client. Every other option adds friction; this one is designed to just work.

⚠️ Heads up: Credit Repair Cloud doesn't recommend using third-party credit report providers. We strongly recommend Credit Hero Score, our fully integrated credit monitoring solution built specifically for Credit Repair Cloud.

How to use the Import/Audit feature - Step by step

The Import/Audit tool is one of Credit Repair Cloud's most powerful features. It pulls the report in and, in the same step, runs an audit you can share with your client.

Before you start: We highly recommend having your client complete their Client Onboarding first, so they can sign up for credit monitoring and enter their own login details.

  1. Click on Clients in the Side Navigation Menu.

  2. Click on your client’s name

  3. Click on the Import/Audit button

  4. Click on Import Credit Report Now

If your client completed onboarding and provided their credit monitoring access details, those details will already be filled in for you.

  5. Click on the Import & Run Simple Audit button

We highly recommend running the Simple Audit, as it is a great way to walk your client through their current credit situation. If you prefer to skip the audit, click on I Don't Need an Audit, Just Import.

  6. Scroll down, and choose between Email Audit to Client, Print, or generate a PDF file to share with your client.

  7. Click on the Next button

You have successfully imported a credit report for your client. Now, you must tag the negative items using our Wizard so you can start generating dispute letters.
