Side Navigation - How do I set up an online/client agreement?

Your client agreement is one of the most important documents in your credit repair business. Clients must sign it before you begin working on their credit repair service. The agreement outlines each party's obligations, the terms and conditions of your service, and what happens if either side doesn't meet those obligations. In this article, we'll cover where and how to create a client agreement in Credit Repair Cloud, along with related setup options.

Where can I create a new client agreement?

  1. Click on Settings in the Side Navigation menu

  2. Click on Client Agreement Options

In this section, you can create new agreement templates and modify your existing ones.

How do I edit the text in a client agreement?

Once you are in the Client Agreement Options section, follow the steps below to locate and edit the content of a client agreement.

  1. Scroll down and locate the agreement you wish to edit​​

  2. Click on the three-dots icon to the right and select Edit Template

  3. Scroll through the document and edit its content as needed

  4. Select whether the agreement will be the default agreement or not

  5. Click on Edit Agreement to save changes

How do I create a new client agreement?

By creating additional agreements, you are able to offer different pricing plans to your clients.

Once you are in the Client Agreement Options section:

  1. Click on + New Agreement

  2. Enter an Agreement name

  3. Click on Insert Original Default Agreement text

  4. Edit and modify the text in any way you need

    (Optional) Click on View Placeholders so you can add them to your agreement if needed.

  5. Select whether the agreement will be the default agreement or not

  6. Click on Add Agreement to save changes

What are the available client agreement options?

There are three options available when setting up online client agreements.

  • Do not use an online agreement for new clients with portal access


    When selecting this option, your clients won’t see the online agreement during onboarding. In this case, you would need to manage the client agreement process using other external methods.

  • Use my default client agreement below for all new clients with portal

    Selecting this option will show your default agreement to all your new clients when they access their client portal.

  • Use different agreements for all the clients with portal

    Select this option if you want to have different client agreements to offer. When choosing this option, you will need to select the agreement for all new clients when enabling their portal access.
