Side Navigation - How to create a new role and permissions for my team members

Audience: Credit Repair Cloud users looking to create new roles for their team members.

By default, there are three basic roles with preset permissions. You can’t edit the permissions of the default roles. These roles are the Admin, Credit Specialist, and Sales Representative. To assign a different set of permissions, add a new role, give it a name (like "Customer Service" or "Account Manager"), and assign the permissions as needed.

How can I create a new role for my team members?

  1. Click on Settings in the Side Navigation Menu.

  2. Click on Roles & Permissions

  3. Click on + New Role

  4. Type in a Role Name

  5. Click on Add

How do I set a new role's permissions?

Once you've created your new role, follow the steps below to edit the role's permissions:

  1. Click on Manage Permissions next to the newly created role

  2. Check or uncheck the permission boxes as needed

    There are permissions for nearly every section of the platform. Changes are immediately applied upon check/unchecking.

Can I edit the permissions of the default/preset roles?

All accounts have default roles with locked permissions. You can’t edit the permissions of the default roles. These roles are the Admin, Credit Specialist, and Sales Representative.

Can I edit the permissions of custom roles?

Yes, you can always edit the permissions of your custom roles by following the steps below:

  1. Click on Manage Permissions next to the newly created role

  2. Check or uncheck the permission boxes as needed

    Permissions cover nearly every section of the platform. Changes are immediately applied upon check/unchecking.
