To start, make sure you have the following:
Why am I getting this error?
The “Report Missing Data” error appears when Credit Repair Cloud cannot access a client’s credit report because the credit bureau flagged a mismatch in the client’s personal identifying information (PII).
PII (Personal Identifying Information) includes sensitive details such as:
Social Security Number (SSN)
Date of Birth (DOB)
Legal Name
Residential Address
If the bureau cannot confirm the client’s details, the credit report will remain inaccessible until the client verifies their information. When a mismatch is detected, the bureau blocks access to the report, which prevents CRC from importing it.
How do I solve this issue?
Ask the Client to Check Their Email
The client should have received an email from the credit bureau(s) with instructions on how to verify their information. The verification must be completed before their report can be imported into CRC.
Help Them Contact the Bureaus Directly (If Needed)
If your client did not receive the email or needs extra support, they can contact the credit bureau(s) directly to confirm or correct their information.
Credit Bureau Contact Numbers:Experian: 1-888-397-3742 or 1-800-854-7201
Equifax: 1-800-203-7843 or 1-888-378-4329
TransUnion: 1-800-916-8800
Verify Information with the Bureaus
Encourage your client to confirm:
Their personal details (legal name, SSN, DOB, current address) are accurate and up to date.
There are no credit freezes, fraud alerts, or account holds that could block report access.
What to expect next
Once your client has successfully verified their information with the bureau(s):
CRC will refresh the report automatically.
You’ll receive an email notification once the credit report is available for import into CRC.
