Side Navigation - Reimport Credit Reports

How do I update credit report changes? Should I import again?

Audience: Credit Repair Cloud users who need to update a client's credit report after a Round of Dispute Letters.

After you import your client's initial credit report and the credit bureaus notify your client about changes to the disputed items, you can reimport the report to reflect those updates.

Table of contents:

To start, make sure you have/have completed the following:

Reimport a credit report

  1. Click on Clients in the Side Navigation Menu.

  2. Use Table Search to locate your client.

  3. Click on your client’s name to open the client dashboard

  4. Click on Import/Audit

  5. Click on Reimport Credit Report

  6. Click on Reimport Credit Report one more time

Next, you will be shown a summary of the changes between the last report and now.

This will include Deleted, Updated to Positive, Updated to Negative, and Added items, as well as updated Scores.

After you reimport the report, some items may show a different status than before. If an item you previously disputed still shows Negative, you can leave it as In Dispute to keep working on it. If you're ready to stop disputing an item, mark it Verified (or another applicable status) and move on to the remaining items.

Scroll down and click on Download as PDF so you can share it with your client and/or keep a copy in their records.

  7. Click on Continue to Credit Report Preview Page

  8. Review the updated report and prepare and send the next round of dispute letters

The Credit Report Import Tool highlights which items are still negative and what's changed since your last import. Once you reimport a report, all you need to do is prepare and send your next Round of Dispute Letters.

Important: Credit Repair Cloud does not store historical reports indefinitely. Each time you import or reimport a report, save a PDF copy of the reimport summary and the full report to preserve an accurate record for your files and future reference.

What if my client wants to see the scores change over time?

Your clients are always able to see their score updates on their Secure Client Access portal or Mobile App.
